Welcome to the website of the David Mebuke Foundation (the "Site"). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms


By using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

The Site is intended for informational purposes, to facilitate donations, and to manage event registrations and ticket sales. You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to use the Site in any way that:

  • Exploits, harms, or attempts to exploit or harm minors in any way.

  • Impersonates or attempts to impersonate the Foundation, a Foundation employee, another user, or any other person or entity.

  • Uploads or transmits any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or any other harmful or disruptive components.

  • Attempts to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Site.


3. Donations and Ticket Sales


3.1 Donations:

All donations made through the Site are voluntary and non-refundable. By making a donation, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any payment method provided.


3.2 Event Registration and Ticket Sales:

When purchasing tickets for our events, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. All ticket sales are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation by the Foundation, in which case a refund will be offered or you may choose to donate the ticket price to the Foundation.


4. Intellectual Property Rights


4.1 Ownership:

The content, features, and functionality on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the exclusive property of the David Mebuke Foundation or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.


4.2 License to Use:

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not allow you to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Site, except as explicitly allowed by these Terms.

The David Mebuke Foundation does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts located in or encompassing Cook County, Illinois.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. All changes are effective immediately when posted and apply to all access to and use of the Site thereafter. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
